Trigent’s team is incredibly professional and organized in its approach. Trigent’s certified Salesforce experts used their industry and technical expertise to modify our existing technology framework while focusing on enhancing the user experience.

About the Client

The client is a French multinational financial services firm specializing in asset and wealth management, corporate and investment banking, insurance, and digital payments. The firm addresses the financial needs of private and institutional clients and offers a wide range of insurance products and services to the customers of Banque Populaire and Caisse d’Epargne banking networks. They help corporates and investors grow their business with a comprehensive range of value-added know-how. Their payments business manages the payment value chain. It caters to the needs of banks and fintech, merchants and e-merchants, and local government bodies through its innovative technology platform and expert team.
The firm has its presence in 36 countries and provides advisory support, solutions, and services specific to each local market, and offers customized services to address the challenges faced by corporations, financial institutions, and institutional investors.

Business Challenge

The firm sought agile transformation. As part of its service differentiators, it looked to provide its customers a single view of their portfolio across different investments, coupled with real-time updates on the investment performance. Private and institutional clients needed to securely view and transact anytime via the web and mobile devices.

The firm’s existing technology framework offered limited capabilities. Data structures needed to be standardized and well-defined APIs were required to be implemented to share data between components. Special focus was required in designing the User Experience while integrating different product flows into a single application. The firm sought a team of expert developers to assist them in modifying its existing framework, which would lead them to a complete agile transformation.

The new framework also needed to resolve the following concerns:

Additionally, the firm wanted to consolidate its business-critical data from disparate sources into one platform to have a 360-degree view of its vendor-specific data.

Trigent Solution

To achieve an enhanced user experience by integrating different product flows into one application, the firm decided to deploy Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC) framework. It partnered with Trigent to avail advantages of the LWC framework.

Trigent’s certified Salesforce experts provided Salesforce Product Engineering services to create the LWC using Javascript. This helped the firm standardize its data structures and develop several well-integrated APIs. Several Lightning-ready applications such as Product Summary, Benchmark comparison, and Top 10 performance applications were developed.

The modern LWC framework also enabled the firm to:

As a part of its Salesforce Production Support Services, Trigent assisted the client with Salesforce administration through Profile Management (end-user management, security, and access management), created dashboard reports using the Salesforce reporting tool, and enabled Chatter’s New Case Feed Process.

Various applications and tools such as Lightning flows, Process Builders, Salesforce Triggers, Visualforce, AuraEnabled Methods, to name a few, were used for the development and production services. Moreover, the ETL tool-Informatica Cloud, along with the robust data and Salesforce migration strategy, enabled the firm to migrate large volumes of (vendor-specific) business-critical data into Salesforce.
