About the Client
An organization in North Carolina is bridging siloed health data with patient care. They extract insights from the health data records to address the gaps in care. The organization has built a system wherein it has synchronized over 200 million records and is currently developing an ecosystem where the records are made available to the patients. At present, the organization can access nearly 300 million health and insurance records.
Business Challenge
Being a start-up at the nascent stage, the organization’s primary focus is to rapidly innovate and deliver new capabilities quickly to the market. To attain its strategic goals, it looked to develop a system that aided organizational agility to deliver quality outcomes and ensure sync across all stakeholders. This is required for the globally distributed engineering team, spread across four time zones, to maximize their time spent on core product development and product innovations rather than coordination and project management.
As the company’s services were delivered through a partner ecosystem, a seamless integration with the varied partner IT systems was required. Patient data access and security needed to be compliant with HIPAA/HL7 regulations.
To enable the product team to focus on strategic initiatives and product innovations, the organization aspired to develop a system that could organize, track, and plan processes, teams, and several other aspects of a project, ensuring accountability, transparency, and collaboration.
